Intro
01A penthouse for entertaining
Set above the rooftops of Brera, Casa Marmo was conceived for a client who hosts often and generously. We created a sequence of lounges, a bar and a chef’s kitchen that open into one another like the rooms of a private club.

Challenge
02Scale with intimacy
With ceilings over four metres, the space needed anchoring. We lowered the light with a sculpted plaster canopy, grouped furniture into conversational islands and designed bronze-lit shelving that turns a collection into architecture.

The Collector’s Tower
A sculptural smoked-oak bookcase, lit in bronze, holding a lifetime of treasured objects.

The Cozy Nook
A caramel leather lounge chair, sheer linen drapes and a marble side table for slow afternoons.

Outcome
03Grand, yet deeply personal
The result is theatrical when full of guests and serene when quiet. Leather, marble and bronze patinate beautifully, so the home will only grow richer with time.
